conductor, countertenor, organist
Hugh Keyte’s edition of Spem in alium has been key to this project. Hugh’s authority on the history of the work is second to none; this edition is the culmination of years of scholarship and unceasing re-examination. You can read all of Hugh’s insights into the piece in his Introduction. Various iterations of this edition have existed throughout the years, including those recorded by the Taverner Choir and I Fagiolini, but now a long-awaited new engraving has been made for release directly into the public domain.
The edition is hosted both on CPDL and IMSLP. Alternatively, click the icons below to view the files directly.
