Teaching music is one of the most rewarding parts of my life as a musician. Learning music is a deeply personal journey that requires both technical skill and artistic understanding. As your instructor, I’m committed to helping you develop both aspects through lessons that are structured, purposeful, and adapted to your individual needs.

Every student brings different aspirations and learning preferences to their musical education. I take time to understand your specific goals—whether you’re preparing for performances, working toward auditions, or simply wanting to play with greater confidence and accuracy. From there, we build a lesson plan that addresses your unique challenges and builds systematically on your strengths.

My teaching approach centers on developing solid technical foundations while fostering musical understanding. Rather than simply learning to play pieces, you’ll gain insight into the principles behind effective music-making. This knowledge becomes the foundation for continued growth, enabling you to tackle new repertoire and musical challenges independently.

The learning environment I create is supportive yet focused. We work through difficulties methodically, celebrating genuine progress while maintaining clear standards. Music education should be engaging and rewarding, but it also requires discipline and consistent effort to achieve meaningful results.

My ultimate goal is to equip you with both the technical skills and musical understanding that will serve you throughout your musical life. Whether you’re a beginner establishing fundamental habits or an experienced musician refining your craft, we’ll work together to help you reach your full potential.

I offer lessons in Voice, Piano, Organ, Music Theory, and Conducting. Generally, I am available Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday afternoons until 6:30pm. My studio is in Cutler Bay, but I can travel to your home for a mutually-agreeable surcharge.
